Owl mug with Socrates Quote

In Greek mythology, a little owl traditionally represents or accompanies Athena, the virgin goddess of wisdom. Because of this relationship, the bird has been used as a symbol of knowledge, wisdom, perspicacity and omniscience throughout the western world. That’s why we chose Sophocles’ quote “I know I know nothing” to accompany the handmade sketch.
